Microsoft Announces Surface Tablet

June 18th, 2012 – Microsoft announced a pair of tablets today that they are calling “Surface”.  Surface tablets will utilize the new Windows 8 Pro and RT Operating Systems, scheduled for a fall 2012 release date.  ACS is treading cautiously with this newly released information, and chooses not to speculate too much at this point, as to the benefits our clients can expect from these new products.  One thing we believe to be for sure is that this will introduce a staunch competitor to the popular iPad and it’s iOS operating system.  We also believe that competition is good, and that our clients will benefit from having additional options to the iPad and current Windows tablets.  To learn more, please visit:
