Marketing Coordinator

This role will work closely with all areas of the business to develop our traditional and social media marketing strategies and plans. This is a new role for our business so we are looking for someone who has the potential to grow along with the position. The role is ideal for a recent college graduate with limited experience, yet has the aptitude and desire to turn their book knowledge into practical experience. Position also lends itself to the stay-at-home parent who has previous experience but is only interested in a part-time role in this field. Some level of information technology experience or understanding would be helpful, but not mandatory.

To qualify for this position you must have recently taken college-level courses focused on traditional AND social media marketing or have previous practical experience. This role will perform the following functions:

1. Develop marketing strategies, plans and budgets,

2. Work with our website developer to design web pages to support marketing strategies,

3. Interact with all team members to facilitate marketing initiatives,

4. Use generally accepted tools to design, implement and manage our social media presence,

5. Attend industry functions as required,

6. Develop and implement contact strategies to support marketing initiatives.
