Weather Hardware - iPad and Windows EFB options

 

The 3rd-generation Weather Data Receiver from WxWorx allows you to pick up a weather data signal from the XM WX Satellite Weather service for distribution to an EFB. Rugged and reliable, the receiver’s small footprint allows it to fit in any cockpit.

Produced by WxWorx parent company Baron Services, the Mobile Link device is small and unobtrusive, connecting to the WxWorx receiver through a single USB connection. Data is broadcast wirelessly to mobile devices using Wi-Fi.

The BT-821 offers up to 23 hours of continuous use from a single charge, making it the ideal GPS for extended navigation trips. Battery usage is substantially increased by having a built-in auto shut-off feature that powers off the BT-821 after 10-minutes of no active connectivity with the host device. Should the BT-821 ever be accidentally left on, the auto shut-off feature will power-off the GPS receiver to conserve battery resources.
